Brookfield CAP2000+ Viscometer
The Brookfield CAP2000+ Viscometer is a high-performance and versatile instrument designed for viscosity measurements at medium to high shear rates. With its wide measurement range, integrated temperature control, and user-friendly interface, it is ideally suited for quality control and product development across a variety of industries.
The instrument features an adjustable speed range from 5 to 1,000 rpm, making it possible to simulate real-world flow conditions. The built-in Peltier plate provides precise temperature control without the need for external circulation. Two model series are available – the L Series (5 °C to 75 °C) and the H Series (50 °C to 235 °C) – depending on application requirements.
With a simple control knob and four-line digital display, users can quickly and clearly view all test parameters simultaneously. The instrument requires only small sample volumes, making it particularly suitable for testing temperature-sensitive or expensive materials.
The CAP2000+ is compatible with a range of cone spindles for both low- and high-viscosity samples. For advanced functionality, Capcalc software is also available, enabling automated data collection, analysis, and comparison of multiple tests.
The instrument is used across a wide range of applications, including paints, coatings, adhesives, food products, cosmetics, and polymers. It provides reliable results even under demanding testing conditions.
