Extension Tips for Ultrasonic Probes
Extension tips are used with ultrasonic probes to increase their reach when processing samples in tall and narrow vessels. They are attached to probes with a threaded connection and replace the replaceable tip.
Extension tips are particularly recommended for applications involving Erlenmeyer flasks and other vessels where a standard probe cannot reach the required processing depth. By extending the probe, ultrasonic energy can be efficiently transferred to the sample even in difficult-to-reach containers.
Standard extension tips provide approximately 127 mm of additional length and are available for several different probe sizes. Longer versions are available for applications with specific requirements.
