VirTis Ultra Prime 50 R&D and Small-Batch Production Freeze Dryer
The VirTis Ultra Prime 50 is an advanced freeze dryer designed for research, process development and small-scale production applications where high capacity, flexibility and reliable results are essential. The system combines the proven performance of VirTis freeze-drying technology with a compact design suitable for both laboratory and cleanroom environments.
With a 50-litre condenser capacity and configurations supporting up to 15 shelves, the Ultra Prime 50 can be adapted to a wide variety of products and processes. The system is available in both bulk and stoppering configurations, with several options for control systems, vacuum solutions and process monitoring.
The upgraded refrigeration technology provides improved cooling capacity while using modern refrigerants with a lower environmental impact. For easy operation and advanced process control, the system can be equipped with either the Merlin control system or the modern LyoLogic™ platform, offering an intuitive user interface and enhanced functionality.
The smooth condenser design simplifies cleaning and defrosting, reducing downtime between processes and contributing to more efficient laboratory and production workflows.
