Replaceable Tips for Ultrasonic Probes
Replaceable tips are used with ultrasonic probes to maintain optimal performance over time. During ultrasonic processing, the tip is subjected to intense cavitation, which gradually causes wear. Once the tip becomes worn, it can be easily replaced without the need to replace the entire probe.
The tips are available in several sizes for different sample volumes and applications. Smaller tip diameters provide higher cavitation intensity and are suitable for small sample volumes, while larger tip diameters enable the processing of larger volumes by distributing the energy over a larger surface area.
The replaceable tips are manufactured from high-quality Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy, offering excellent mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and resistance to cavitation erosion. They are designed for water-based samples and ensure high processing efficiency while extending the service life of the ultrasonic equipment.
