VCX-750CCE-110 – 750 W Ultrasonic Processor with Cup Horn, Chiller and Sound Enclosure
The VCX-750CCE-110 is a complete system for indirect ultrasonic processing of samples. The system combines a 750 W ultrasonic processor with a Cup Horn, chiller, and sound enclosure, making it ideal for sensitive samples where direct contact with an ultrasonic probe should be avoided.
Cup Horn technology enables multiple sealed sample tubes or vessels to be processed simultaneously without the ultrasonic probe coming into direct contact with the sample. This eliminates the risk of cross-contamination and reduces foaming, overheating, and aerosol formation that may otherwise occur during direct probe sonication. The system is particularly effective for very small sample volumes, including samples below 200 μL.
The Cup Horn unit is mounted directly onto the converter instead of a standard probe and is filled with water. Sample tubes are placed in specially designed holders, where ultrasonic energy is transferred through the water to the samples. Two holders for 1.5 mL microtubes are included as standard.
