VCX500 with Cup Horn System
The VCX500 with Cup Horn System is a complete solution for ultrasonic processing of small sample volumes without direct contact between the probe and the sample. The system is particularly suitable for sensitive, sterile, or potentially infectious samples where the risk of cross-contamination, foaming, and aerosol formation needs to be minimized.
The Cup Horn unit is filled with water and transfers ultrasonic energy indirectly to sample tubes or vessels placed in holders above the horn. This enables efficient processing of multiple samples simultaneously and provides reproducible results even with very small sample volumes.
The system is supplied as a complete package with a VCX500 ultrasonic processor, Cup Horn, cooling unit, and sound enclosure for optimal temperature control and an improved working environment.
